Every year, Colorado CattleWomen members across the state are working in their communities to promote beef, educate consumers, serve their communities, grow membership, and share the story of Colorado’s cattle industry.

The Colorado CattleWomen Event of the Year recognizes an outstanding event that demonstrates creativity, engagement, teamwork, and a meaningful impact on the community.

Whether your group hosted a booth at a community celebration, participated in a parade, visited a school, organized a fundraiser, or created another unique opportunity to connect with the public, your event could be Colorado CattleWomen’s Event of the Year!

What Makes an Event Stand Out?

We are looking for events that go beyond simply showing up. Consider how your event:

• Promoted beef and beef education
• Connected with consumers and answered their questions
• Served your community
• Engaged current or potential members
• Raised funds for your organization or a worthwhile cause
• Created meaningful interactions and memorable experiences
• Used creative giveaways or educational materials
• Promoted the event through social media, radio, print, community partnerships, or other outreach
• Made an impact that can be seen, measured, or shared

Tell Us About Your Event

When submitting your nomination, share the story behind your event. Include the event's location, date and time, primary objectives, estimated attendance, giveaways, promotional efforts, and the activities your group organized. Photos and other visual documentation are encouraged to help bring your event to life.

Most importantly, tell us about the takeaways. What questions did the public ask? What did your members learn? What was your biggest success or "win" from the event?
