Beef Account Funds Reimbursement for Members
Promoting and Educating about Beef?
As a CCW member or affiliate, if you’re hosting an educational event, promoting beef at an event or doing ag education with beef — you may be eligible for reimbursement of beef used at your event.
How to apply / get more information
Please direct inquiries and reimbursement verifications to: Joanie Shoemaker- jshoem8681@aol.com and Sallie Miller- smiller@wigginstel.com.
When you email, include:
- Event name, date and location
- Brief description of the promotional activity and educational component
- A scanned document/photo of the meat purchase receipt
- Pictures from the event
- Name, address, phone number for sending reimbursement
- Contact name and phone/email for follow up
Unsure if your event will qualify?
Contact Joanie Shoemaker- jshoem8681@aol.com and Sallie Miller- smiller@wigginstel.com before your event to confirm if it will qualify for Beef Account reimbursement funds.
Who’s eligible
Your event qualifies for reimbursement if:
- The beef is given away as a promotion (not sold).
- Beef education is provided in conjunction with the giveaway (demonstrations, tastings with talking points, nutrition facts, cooking tips, etc.). There needs to be a face to face interaction with each sample. If giving out meat sticks there should be a promotional/educational item attached to the stick.
- A receipt for the meat is submitted.
