Welcome to Colorado
CattleWomen!

Promoting the importance of beef and agriculture as the premier women's organization dedicated to Colorado's beef producing families.

Bridging the Rural and Urban Agricultural Community

Colorado CattleWomen is the oldest women’s beef advocacy group in Colorado, having been active since 1941. Our mission is to educate, promote, and protect ranching families and the beef they produce.

Our passion is bridging the rural and urban divide to bring Colorado's beef families and consumers together.

Our Love for Agriculture

It is seemingly easy to understand why Colorado is well-known for its scenic beauty, climate, and amenities. The state encompasses 66.3 million acres, half in ranches and farms.

Agriculture has always been essential for people in the state. That’s the reason why we love our community.

Known for Our Cattle Production

Cattle production is Colorado’s number one agricultural commodity, with 2.7 million head of cattle being raised by families across various counties.

Approximately 60% of the state's $7.1 billion in agricultural cash receipts attributes to livestock.

Farmers and ranchers provide food and habitat for 75% of the nation’s wildlife.
