Beef Ambassador Program
Colorado CattleWomen are proud to announce the inception of our Beef Ambassador Program for Colorado youth interested in advocating for the cattle and beef industry.
High school and middle school students are invited to become beef ambassadors. These students will speak on behalf of the industry and share facts, educational information and personal stories about the cattle industry with other students and the public. Ambassadors will be provided with materials and coached by mentors to help them in this endeavor.
In addition, they will be encouraged to create social media content to be shared on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
Being a Beef Ambassador allows students to jump start their agriculture careers, provides learning opportunities, builds an impressive resume and fosters leadership and life skills.
Upcoming events that beef ambassadors can attend include the Colorado Cattlemen Association (CCA) and CCW Mid-Winter meetings in January and the Denver National Western Stock Show, January 11-26, 2025. A Beef Ambassador training and brainstorming session will be held in June of 2025 in Steamboat Springs during the 158th CCA/CCW Convention. Thanks to the Colorado Beef Council, CCW can help coaches and ambassadors with mileage costs to these events!
